2014 Homeowner Mood & Mindset Survey
HILB’s second annual Homeowner Mood & Mindset Survey, released in December 2014, compared and contrasted homeowners and service professionals’ preferences for completing home maintenance and improvement projects. The results revealed paralleling attitudes along with differing opinions in areas such as the hiring process, brand commitment, the consultation process and subcontractors.

2013 Homeowner Mood & Mindset Survey
HILB released results from its first annual Homeowner Mood & Mindset survey in January 2013 that examined how Millennials research, hire and work with home service professionals compared to the older generations of homeowners. According to HILB President and CEO of HomeAdvisor Chris Terrill, the overall purpose of the survey was to “help to identify opportunities to improve the hiring process for homeowners and service professionals, especially as it relates to the Millennial Generation.”
