Chris Terrill

Chris Terrill is CEO of HomeAdvisor, the nation’s leading website connecting homeowners with screened and approved local service professionals. Terrill earned a B.S. in Advertising from The University of Texas, Austin and holds a MBA from The University of Houston. He also serves on the Board of Neatco, the leading manufacturer of “digital filing cabinet” equipment and software storage.

Bill Good

Bill Good

Bill Good is Executive Vice President of the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), a 128-year old trade association with headquarters in Rosemont, Ill. He has held that position for 25 years, and previously served NRCA in a variety of different capacities for an additional 12 years.

Bill is a graduate of the University of Virginia, and holds his MBA from the University of Chicago. He has been an active participant in the association community, serving on the board of directors and executive committee of the American Society of Association Executives; serving as a board member of the National Chamber Foundation; serving as national chairman for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institutes for Organization Management; and serving as a board member and president of the Association Forum of Chicagoland.

Bill Darcy

Bill Darcy

Bill Darcy joined the National Kitchen & Bath Association in 2006 as Manager of Marketing Partnerships, and was quickly promoted to Manager of Business Development, Senior Manager of Marketing, Director of Marketing, Executive Vice President, and his current position of CEO. Bill holds a bachelor’s degree in Management from Moravian College, and prior to the NKBA, he spent seven years with International Speedway Corporation (ISC), sister company to NASCAR, most recently as Senior Director of Corporate Account Management at the Daytona Beach, Florida headquarters.

Gwyn Donohue

Gwyn Donohue

Gwyn Donohue is the Executive Director, NAHB Remodelers, representing and serving the 24,000 members of the National Association of Home Builders who do remodeling. NAHB Remodelers provides information, advocacy, research, education and networking opportunities to improve the expertise of its members and the professional image of the industry. Since 2007, she was NAHB’s director of public relations and consumer content, where she developed and implemented public awareness campaigns, programs and resources to help NAHB’s members and affiliated home builders’ associations reach out to consumers with positive messages about home buying and housing industry issues. Her career prior to NAHB included more than 18 years in marketing, communications, public relations and program management with mortgage services, animal health, publishing, and youth development organizations in the private, public and nonprofit sectors.

Bill Shaw

Bill Shaw

As owner and president of William Shaw & Associates, Bill Shaw oversees all aspects of the business. Bill has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston. He also holds the following NAHB certifications: Certified Graduate Remodeler, Graduate Master Builder, Certified Aging in Place Specialist, and Certified Green Professional. He has been in the remodeling business in Houston since 1984 and is the father of two twin boys.

Paul Sullivan

Paul Sullivan

Paul Sullivan has served the Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Boston as president and was named the Remodeler of the Year twice by that association. An NAHB Life Director, Sullivan has chaired and served on numerous committees within NAHB. In 2013, Sullivan was named the NAHB Green Advocate of the Year and was also honored as a Green Partner of Excellence from the Home Innovation Research Labs for his work developing the 2012 National Green Building Standard. He has earned more than forty local, regional and national awards for design, construction and business practices during his career.

Sullivan is a third generation remodeling contractor whose Newton, Mass.- based company provides residential remodeling in the greater Boston area and serves many second home owners from the New Hampshire office.

Eric Spence

Eric has a wide range of entrepreneurial and business experience and is currently Success Group International’s Vice President of Research and Development where he is dedicated to helping independent contractors maximize their success. He’s been a business consultant for both startup and existing companies, as well as owned and managed his own home-remodeling business.

David Silverstein

David Silverstein

David Silverstein is founder and CEO of AROCON Roofing and Construction, LLC, a home improvement company based out of Maryland that specializes in Roofing, Siding, Gutters, Windows, Doors, Design Build projects and other specialty services. David graduated from Towson University in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. By working closely with his business partners, Christopher Toleman and Eric Consuegra, AROCON has become a very fast growing and successful company in a short period of time.

Andrew Reid

Andrew Reid

Andrew Reid is president of digital and the head of strategic development for Hanley Wood, LLC, the premier media, information, and marketing services company serving the residential and commercial design and construction industry. His vision for the development and implementation of innovative digital-media products is a key component of Hanley Wood’s corporate vision for growth.

Reid is responsible for developing and executing Hanley Wood’s digital strategy across all operating platforms with a focus on enterprise-wide solutions and products. He is also charged with identifying new business opportunities and partnerships that align with Hanley Wood’s overall strategic goals.

Before joining Hanley Wood, Reid was senior vice president and global head of the Investment Banking and Corporate markets at Reuters Group PLC, where he was responsible for the group’s growth, strategy, and ongoing product development. Reid also sat on the boards of directors at Intralinks Inc., a provider of secure online data rooms and workspaces, and the Independent Research Network LLC, which provides research services to current and prospective NASDAQ issuers.

Reid is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, with a B.S. in Economics.

Lorenzo Marquez

Lorenzo Marquez

Lorenzo Marquez is Vice President of Marketing for Cosentino North America, a world leader in the manufacturing and distribution of quartz, natural stone, and recycled surfaces. In this role he oversees all marketing, public relations and digital strategies for Cosentino Group’s portfolio of brands in the U.S and Canadian markets, including Silestone Natural Quartz, ECO by Cosentino, SenSa Granite, Scalea Natural Stone, and the Prexury Collection. Marquez has been instrumental in overseeing Cosentino’s expansion in North America, which in 2014 will include the launch of six new regional Cosentino Centers, and the global launch of an entirely new brand, Dekton by Cosentino.

Marquez joined Cosentino in 2003 after receiving a degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of Houston and working for Levi Strauss & Company also in marketing. He serves on the NKBA Board of Directors and the KBIS Advisory Council and is an active member of the A+D and Kitchen & Bath community. Marquez is frequently quoted in the media on Cosentino’s position as industry leader and on market trends and insight.

Ricardo González

Ricardo González

Ricardo González is the Founder and Executive Director of Bilingual America, a national communications institute that specializes in Latino and Non-Latino Communications. He is also the Founder of ViadeExito.com, a Spanish language training site that is dedicated to helping Latinos succeed at the highest levels in life and business.

He has developed several courses including SuccesswithHispanics™, LíderesExitosos™ (Successful Leaders), SpanishPower™, and Inglés Poderoso™ among others. He is the author of The 12 Hidden Truths to Learning Spanish and Café con Milk – How to Brew Wildly Successful Business Relations with Latinos (release date May, 2014). He is a popular conference speaker and has written for several trade magazines including Roofing Contractor and Walls and Ceilings, among others.

Ricardo makes it his practice to invest significant time studying and engaging with Latinos of all nationalities and socioeconomic backgrounds and their relationship to American business and social systems. This gives him a very accurate understanding of trends and needs within the Latino demographic in both the United States and Latin America.

Chris Toleman

Chris Toleman graduated from Towson University in 2006 with Bachelors in International Business. After graduation he worked for Chinese and Korean import/export companies and in 2008, started an independent home remodeling company. Two years later, he joined as the third partner at AROCON Roofing and Construction, LLC and is currently focused on financial, legal, and strategic management of the company. In 2013, AROCON was ranked #213 on the inc. 500 across all sectors and 6th for construction companies nationwide. Currently AROCON serves Southern Pennsylvania and Central Maryland in all phases of home improvement and light commercial construction.

David Yates

David Yates

Since graduating from the Harrington Institute of Interior Design in 1980, David Yates, ASID, has been involved with all aspects of the applied arts industry including design, sourcing, project management and installation. Beginning with his first position as a junior designer with Daniel DuBay & Associates, Yates’ philosophy of understanding the client’s perspective and giving life to their vision has made him one of the most sought after designers in Chicago. After working for Daniel DuBay, Yates has worked for a myriad of leading design groups such as Reed R. Krueger & Associates, Inc., Powell/Kleinschmidt and GHK Inc. His specific job functions have included designing, estimating, coordinating staff and trades for residential and commercial interior design projects. Through these experiences he has gained an expertise in traditional, transitional and contemporary interiors.

In 1989, he started David Andrew Interiors. David Andrew Interiors is a full-service design firm with experience encompassing all design phases from initial meeting to final installation assisting clients with diverse requirements such as space analysis, furniture and finish selections while providing the specifications, construction documentation and project management required to ensure successful project completion.
